i hope i've made the right choice. hur hur. went down to see another prof today. he's just arrived at nus.. two days so far. and his profile is...... zaiiii! published 40 over papers in just three years, with some patents. tsk tsk. he's a china guy btw. it just happened that yesterday i told darence that im interested in his project.. den darence said he's meeting this prof today. so last night i went home and made an appointment with him also lar.. and it was after darence. den after darence met him he told me the prof confirm him le.. and told me things to prepare me lar. haha. this guy is very confident.. and can tell he's very results-oriented. gives the feeling that if my experiments dun give him any results he will chop head. and guess what, he promised us papers to be published under our names at the end of our honours year. which is like.... jaw-dropping. how many honours students have papers published under their name?? stressful lehh. and i like the fact that he doesnt want us to plunge into lab work straight away. he wants us to read and understand first. not a lot of profs do that. or maybe cos he's new? i dunno. anyways, i told him im interested in joining his lab. not sure if he'll confirm me.. but i'd definitely hope so. but i get the feeling that he prefers guys to girls.. cos he asked me if i really wanna join a synthetic lab? you're a girl. and im like.. "and so? what's the prob?" tsk tsk. i'll bring tons of soap and perfumes to school next sem.
it's time to revise my organic chemistry i guess. i've forgotten the bulk of it.
