and so...... my holidays end today. booooooooooooooo.library training in the morning.. den after that went to my prof's new office to meet him. passed me a set of readings. said that i must be familiar with every single detail. "everrrrry single word" that's what he said. and that review paper he passed to me.. cross referenced with 100 over journals which he said we need to know too. apart from that.. emailed me 3 other sets of readings which i have yet opened the files.. wonder what's in store. oh man. and the timeframe is 2 weeks. said to finish the readings in two weeks and come up with a presentation. wonderful. presentation. wonderful.darence met the prof too and he even asked the prof to show him the lab. and he said.. it's like walking into a "five-star" lab. he said it's veryyy big.. and very empty. the prof has not even purchased all the apparatus cos his funds just got approved. lol. there's even a resting area in the lab he said. cool. half the lab will be shared with the pharmacy students though.anyways, that whole level.. only has my prof's office. cos i saw the labelling on the doors.. only his name. the rest are like pantry and stuff. and the office is new! the whole place is quite cool. different from the rest of the chem dept. wahaha.and most importantly, the lab has got air-con. i'll probably die faster. but dun care.. im thankful.on monday, we went back for a series of talk lar. den in the afternoon, a "fruit feast" was scheduled. when you hear "fruit feast", what kinda fruits are you expecting leh? we were thinking should be honeydew, watermelon, starfruits, apples etc etc. but guess what, it was all the exotic fruits. not that exotic but just.. HAHA. they provided us with baskets of durians, longans, mangosteen, rambutans, chikus etc. hahaha. quite funny. the whole place reaked of durians. lol. i din eat the durians btw. so unglam.
